Honey Bunny

Indian advertisement has moved on to the next level. Ek Se Bar Kar Ek! Heard DJs are playing one such ad campaign tune more than Sheilas and Munnis! “Honey … Bunny … Honey … Bunny”, unconsciously rhymed the latest top rated music tone of the country this evening while sipping a cup of hot tea on fairly cold evening in Kolkata. Typical 1 minute thoughts flashed through the freezed calendar days. 365 days almost flew!

Stanta Claus is gone. The Jiggling tone is in its last node but the Chocolate cake from Kathleen are over. 2013 is almost in. Priorities temporarily sterilized the writing spree this year. Best moment of the year was my relational promotion. Meet my nephew in the new born nursery. Amazing experience to hunt the one you are looking for while each little sleeping prince or princess demands a look.

What changed the most? Appetite to read newspaper over morning cup of tea!! The escalation mails on black berry were often a better read than the pathetic, depressing and scary cover stories of news dailies. Tired from office spend some quality time with family. Ma kept asking what is consuming most of my time which is covered in the blanket of busy tag; I feared she was trying to do a root cause of my inefficiency just like school days. Thank God we don’t have report cards that call for parent’s signature :) for office work!

During summer holidays, NRI friends landed the international airport which is far from perfect; however we dined in few new fast growing fine dining restaurants in the city of joy! The city has so much to gossip on not so happening things yet it has the spice to fuel one to continue for hours. Off course some facebook moments for quick post for the rest world of known and unknown to keep that gossip on for a few more days! Social Quotient - is the most happening thing on the virtual village.

The two political episodes that sucked some considerable time of the year were stories of two Presidents – Obama and Pranab. Patiently heard of reforms that Obama government made and thus hitting my US friends doing business. Occasionally while crossing the nearest flyover peep through to locate our President’s much published house in Kolkata. Unsure of all reforms that he makes, somewhere feel proud that he is incidentally my neighbor.

Felt nostalgic after the loss of teenage Hero - Rajesh Khanna. But mind is sincerely upset on a brutal murder committed for accomplishment of collaborative basic instinct in a country that is my motherland. Can we not be collaborative in real national goals and accomplish a safe and healthy environment for tomorrow ? Thoughts are jumbled and hence giving sentiments a sedimentation time, hoping the clarity of mind to rise from the dirt of matter.

Wish a very safe and healthy 2013.Let us be responsible to do our best in our personal deals and towards our civil society. Want to really feel carefree and sing a honey bunny honey bunny…!!

  1. one small incident to this hunny bunny...
usually I set formal ringtones like nokia one or just a beep.. after listening to this hunny bunny suddenly I decided to set this one.....
Whenever my cook does not turn out she gives me a call and after getting the call mostly I get very irritated. But last time my phone rang at 6:30 in the morning with hunny bunny and she informed that she would be off, surprisingly I was very cool and without any irritation I started singing hunny bunny.. I was really surprised a ringtone can have such a nice impact....

  3. Nice reading. Humming 'honey bunny' for a relational promotion, for being the neighbor of our President, for not having report cards on office work getting signed by parents and lastly for suggesting a collaborative effort to accomplish some real good. :) :) :D
